I graduated from Spring Arbor University in the spring of 2013 with a bachelor of science in communications studies and a minor in music. By the end of my senior year, I had worked professionally in radio for 2 years, created a student-led podcast, produced two audiobooks, and had just finished writing/producing/performing a senior show.
I graduated and immediately started to document my struggles in becoming a recently unemployed college grad by writing and producing a 13-part radio series called The Rough Draft Diaries. This series ultimately led to my employment at WGTE Public Radio.
The best way to recap ‘what I did before’ would be with my senior show. The first video is a short film my friend and I created to begin the whole program. After the film played, my senior show began.
