Beyond my work in public media and audiobook production, I have pursued opportunities in freelance work and various hobbies. Some of these projects include:
- Interviewing High-Profile Figures: Conducted live interviews with prominent individuals, such as Amanda Lucidon, the official White House photographer, Michael Pollan, an influential author and journalist, and Eric Kripke, a successful television writer, director, and producer.
- Theater Production and Direction: As a co-producer of “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” I collaborated with the University of Toledo Department of Theatre & Film to bring the production to life. I worked closely with the cast and crew, directing the actors and overseeing the recording of their dialogue, along with incorporating sound design elements.
- Event Coordination and Audio Production: I served as a co-producer for “The Art of the Cut,” a live event exploring the intersection of art and health, organized in collaboration with The Toledo Museum of Art and Promedica Health Care. I played a key role in creating audio packages, which involved interviewing local barbers and assisting in sharing their stories.
- Theater Performance: I showcased my acting chops by taking on the lead role in the theater production of “Remember the Night” produced by the Lakeside Theatre Company.
- Collaborative Project Management: I provided assistance in the production and performance of “Portraits of Toledo,” a collaborative endeavor between the Toledo Museum of Art and the University of Toledo Department of Theatre and Film. This involved contributing to the planning, execution, and success of the months-long series of storytelling events and workshops.
- Music Recording and Performance: I had the opportunity to record an original song for the soundtrack of the documentary “The Tapestry,” recorded at Aashrum Studios.
